If you love digging into market insights, shaping product direction, and empowering sales teams, you'll thrive here, especially if you enjoy a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

About Paessler

Paessler develops and sells IT monitoring software. Its products are used by businesses to monitor network infrastructure and applications.

About the role

We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our Growth Product Marketing team. In this role, you'll shape and own the go-to-market strategy for key areas of the Paessler platform, translating our global product strategy into measurable impact. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you’ll work closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, and Marketing, to scale both product-led growth and world-class go-to-market execution at Paessler.

You thrive in cross-functional environments, enjoy turning complex technology into compelling stories, and believe great Product Marketing is equal parts market insight, strategic vision, execution, and measurement. You’ll play a critical role in gathering customer, competitor, and market insights, and converting them into validated market opportunities, influencing product direction, and developing resources and initiatives that empower both our sales teams and our prospects to discover, adopt, and champion our products.

YOUR TASKS

  • Understand and translate product value: Partner with Product Managers and GTM teams to deeply understand product capabilities and customer use cases, translating them into clear, compelling, and differentiated value for prospects and customers.
  • Own positioning and messaging: Define and evolve product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions grounded in customer needs, competitive insights, and real-world feedback.
  • Support launches and GTM plays: Partner with Product, Sales, and Marketing to plan and execute launches and GTM motions, including persona definition, segmentation, messaging, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Drive product-led growth: Develop and optimize resources that enable self-serve discovery, adoption, and expansion. Continuously test and refine messaging based on funnel performance, usage data, and adoption insights.
  • Be the voice of the market: Gather, synthesize, and analyze market trends, customer feedback, buying behavior, and competitive dynamics to inform messaging, campaigns, and asset prioritization.
  • Stay ahead of the competition: Monitor the competitive landscape and provide actionable insights and recommendations to maintain differentiation.
  • Lead with data: Use data to inform decisions, measure impact, and iterate. You’re comfortable building reports, interpreting performance metrics, and turning insights into action - if it can’t be measured, it doesn’t ship.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 4+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, Content Marketing, or a related role within a B2B SaaS or technology company, with demonstrated ownership of both product positioning and go-to-market strategy and execution oversight.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, differentiated, and persuasive narratives.
  • Highly data-driven and curious, with a strong bias toward experimentation, learning, and iteration.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across Product, Sales, and Marketing teams without formal authority.
  • Hands-on experience creating enablement assets and programs that support sales or customer-facing teams.
  • Experience with product-led growth (PLG) or self-serve adoption motions is a strong plus.
  • Experience in network monitoring, IT infrastructure, or enterprise software - especially in domains relevant to Paessler’s solutions - is highly valued.

FACTS FOR YOU

  • Innovative and creative work environment with plenty of room for new ideas.

  • A great working atmosphere in an enthusiastic international team with flat hierarchies.
