As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Shopware, you will develop and be responsible for core product marketing foundations that determine how our platform is positioned, understood, and sold in the market. You will set standards for compelling messaging, sales enablement, and go-to-market excellence across our commerce, AI, and Cloud/PaaS offerings.

At the intersection of product, sales, and marketing, you will translate complex commerce and platform functionalities – including AI-driven and composable architectures – into clear, differentiated value propositions for merchants, partners, and developers in international markets.

And you will work closely with Product Management, Solution Architects, Sales, and Marketing to shape positioning, launches, and enablement, thereby sustainably strengthening market perception, pipeline, and product adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Product Positioning & Messaging: You develop and are responsible for Shopware's positioning and messaging architecture across platform, AI, and Cloud/PaaS offerings. In doing so, you translate complex functionalities into clear, differentiated value propositions, use cases, and selling stories for defined ICPs and personas, and continuously optimize them based on market, customer, and competitor analyses.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy & Implementation: You are responsible for the end-to-end implementation of go-to-market strategies for product launches and strategic initiatives, define target segments, buyer journeys, and core messages, and ensure successful market introduction together with product, sales, and marketing.
  • Sales & Partner Enablement (Focus): You develop and scale impactful enablement materials such as sales playbooks, demo stories, qualification guides, and vertical content, thereby empowering sales and partner teams to convincingly position Shopware's platform, AI, and Cloud/PaaS added value.
  • Market, Customer & Competitor Analyses: You conduct market analyses, ICP and persona definitions, and competitor analyses, identify opportunities, validate customer problems, and incorporate these insights into product, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Demand Generation & Campaign Input: You support demand generation through strategic input for campaigns, ensure consistent messaging, and contribute to increasing awareness and pipeline in relevant target segments.
  • Product Adoption & Performance: You define and analyze KPIs across adoption, pipeline, and messaging effectiveness, and use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and promote sustainable growth.

What you bring to the table

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing in B2B SaaS, digital commerce, or platform/cloud/PaaS environments
  • Demonstrable responsibility for the entire PMM cycle: Positioning, messaging, launches, competitive analysis, and sales enablement
  • Solid experience in market analysis, ICP and persona definition, and value proposition development
  • Deep understanding of digital commerce platforms and ecosystems, including composable/headless architectures, APIs, integrations, and storefronts
  • Experience with AI-driven commerce approaches (e.g. LLMs, automation, personalization, agents)
  • Strong technical affinity and ability to communicate complex platform topics understandably to business and technical audiences
  • Data-driven approach with experience in using customer, pipeline, and performance data
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, as well as confident demeanor with stakeholders
