Today, we are recruiting a Senior Product Marketing Manager for France to drive the growth of Sage Active, one of our major strategic priorities in Europe.
This role is for a senior professional, ideally with a background in B2B SaaS, who wants to go beyond simply producing messages or launching products, and truly influence strategy, positioning, and sales performance.
Paris or Bordeaux – Hybrid model (3 days in the office / 2 days remotely)
Main Responsibilities
A strategic, high-impact role. This position is not an "execution" role. It is an individual leadership role, at the intersection of product, market, and revenue.
You will play a central role in answering key questions:
- •In which segments should the product gain priority?
- •Why do customers choose Sage over other players?
- •How can we transform our product capabilities (and AI) into clear and differentiating business value?
- •How can we maximize the impact of pricing, offering, and go-to-market strategy on growth?
Your work will directly influence:
- •product strategy,
- •the roadmap,
- •the sales pitch,
- •and, ultimately, business results in France.
Your Main Responsibilities
Market & Growth Strategy
- •Define priority target segments (PCS), high-potential opportunities, and growth levers for Sage Active in France.
- •Analyze the market (French SMEs, firms, partners, finance & accounting tech) and transform these insights into concrete strategic decisions.
- •Be the voice of the French market within Sage.
Positioning & Differentiation
- •Build and champion Sage Active's positioning against demanding B2B SaaS competition (e.g., Pennylane, Regate).
- •Define differentiating, credible, and customer-value-driven messaging.
- •Develop a clear narrative shared by the Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
Value Proposition, Pricing & Offering
- •Translate functionalities (including AI) into concrete business benefits for customers.
- •Define and evolve value propositions by segment.
- •Lead pricing and packaging strategies, aligned with perceived value and market dynamics.
Go-to-Market & Internal Influence
- •Provide the strategic framework for the Go-to-Market strategy (target audience, reasons, what to sell, and how to win).
- •Work closely with the Product, Growth, and Sales teams, as well as senior management.
- •Influence product priorities through a deep understanding of customer expectations and market dynamics.

Desired Profile
What we are primarily looking for is a senior expert in B2B SaaS Product Marketing with a genuine passion for strategy and proven knowledge of AI, whether for implementation with the product management team or for setting up AI-powered PMM processes.
Ideally, you have
- •5 to 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Strategy, or equivalent, necessarily within a B2B SaaS context.
- •Solid experience in defining positioning, go-to-market strategy, and product differentiation.
- •A good understanding of the challenges faced by SMEs/SMBs, ideally in the fintech, accounting, ERP, or management software sectors.
- •Experience working in international and matrix organizations.
- •A demonstrated ability to influence without hierarchical authority.
- •An analytical mind, focused on business impact.
