About HIOKI Europe

HIOKI is a Japanese manufacturer of electrical test and measurement instruments, founded in 1935. Our product portfolio ranges from clamp meters and portable battery testers to LCR meters, resistance meters, insulation testers, data acquisition systems, power analyzers and current sensors.

HIOKI Europe is the European sales subsidiary of HIOKI. Since establishing our own European sales organization in 2017, we have been building the HIOKI brand and market presence across Europe from our base near Frankfurt.

We are looking for an outgoing, technically curious and proactive person who wants to help shape this journey by turning measurement technology into clear, relevant and convincing stories.

Your Role

As Product Marketing Specialist / Manager, Test & Measurement, you will help shape how HIOKI products are positioned, explained and promoted in Europe.

This is an active role for someone who does not wait for topics to be handed over. You will identify relevant applications, ask the right technical questions and create content that helps customers, sales teams and partners understand where HIOKI products make a difference.

Depending on your background and experience, you will focus on one or more of the following product and application areas:

• •MRO, service and field applications with products such as clamp meters, clamp multimeters and portable battery testers
• •Laboratory, R&D and production-related measurement applications with products such as LCR meters, resistance meters, battery testers and insulation testers
• •Broader test and measurement topics where technical understanding and clear communication are essential

You do not need to know every product from day one. What matters is curiosity, technical interest, the willingness to learn and the ability to explain complex topics in a way that others understand.

Skills can be learned. Attitude matters from day one.

Your Responsibilities

• •Develop positioning, messaging and application stories for selected HIOKI product groups in Europe
• •Create technical content for our website, webshop, blog, sales materials, trainings and presentations
• •Identify relevant communication topics, from practical field use cases to laboratory and production measurement applications
• •Explain what a product does, where it is useful and why it matters, without losing technical accuracy
• •Support product launches, campaigns, trainings, webinars and sales enablement activities
• •Work with sales teams and partners to understand customer questions, application needs and competitive situations

What We Are Looking For

You may already be working in product marketing, product management, application engineering, technical writing, technical sales or business development. Your current job title is less important than your mindset. A technical background is essential for this role, ideally in electrical engineering or electronics.

You should bring

• •The motivation to understand technical products properly instead of only describing them on the surface
• •An outgoing personality and the confidence to approach colleagues, partners and customers proactively
• •A clear and structured communication style, both in writing and in conversation
• •Curiosity, initiative and the willingness to ask questions until you really understand a topic
• •Very good English skills, spoken and written
• •Good German skills are highly welcome
• •Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe

Experience in electrical test and measurement, MRO/service applications, battery testing, LCR meters, resistance measurement, insulation testing, application engineering, technical sales or content creation for websites, webshops or blogs would be a plus, but it is not a must.

Working Location

The position is based at HIOKI Europe in Eschborn, near Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

Hybrid working is possible, but this is not a remote-first role. Especially during the first months, regular time in the office will be important to get to know HIOKI, our products, our customers and the team.

We are therefore looking for someone who lives within a reasonable commuting distance of Eschborn and is willing to spend regular time in the office.
