Purpose of the Position

The search is part of the strengthening of the Product Marketing Management area of the Lighting Business Unit.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyzing the competitive scenario and product positioning, proposing the most appropriate actions to develop the reference segment, in relation to market needs and the price list structure.
  • Implementing a go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and positioning in accordance with Corporate Marketing and Cluster Marketing guidelines.
  • Proposing new products/solutions to be developed, coordinating and managing market analyses, managing the launch of new products, and defining appropriate forecasts, in coordination with the Portfolio manager and Cluster Marketing.
  • Ensuring continuous interface with all internal Business Unit functions (R&D, Lighting Project) and external functions (Manufacturing, Pricing, Quality, Supply Chain, Legal, Communication, and Corporate Marketing).
  • Managing the product solution lifecycle from conceptual definition to phase-out.
  • Supporting training and promotional activities for the launch of products and/or solutions on the market.
  • Evaluating and sharing analyses, research, and market shares of competitors. Monitoring competitors' actions and strategies in different markets in collaboration with Cluster Marketing.
  • Knowing marketing communication and promotion tools for the offering and, in particular, new digital communication/social tools.
  • Visiting customers in collaboration with Cluster marketing to support the sales team.

Required Qualifications

For the position, specific and appreciable knowledge of the Lighting sector is required, preferably gained in multinational or structured companies. Furthermore, we are looking for a person with a technical diploma or a degree in Engineering / Product Design / Marketing who is sensitive to market needs. Must possess determination, initiative, results orientation, a predisposition to customer relations, and an aptitude for teamwork. A good knowledge of English is essential, and preferably a second language.
